It was determined recently that some air bag equipped vehicles upon air bag deployment could rupture, sending dangerous metal fragments at a high rate of speed to the very occupant they were deemed to protect. As a result there is a recall of these components.
Here is the current list of affected Subaru vehicles in the Us for the latest recall pertaining to Air bags.
17,516 total number of potentially affected vehicles, but I want to stress this could change as the investigation continues.
- 2003 – 2005 Baja
- 2003 – 2005 Legacy
- 2003 – 2005 Outback
- 2004 – 2005 Impreza
